All of our partners have studied at university or have self-educated themselves for years in each respective discipline. 
They have the expertise and/or do what they offer on our website for a living.


How do I book an experience, activity or tour?

Booking is instant if using the booking system or “on request” if using the “Book or Inquire” form.

You will find a calendar with availability and booking system on the webpage of every tour, activity and experience.

There is also a booking form available on every page which you could use to send your questions before booking or requesting to make a booking if you like us to assist you with the booking.

All bookings made through Creative Iceland require full payment from our customers at the time of booking.

How can I pay?

The debit and credit cards we accept are MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, JCB, Diners, Discover and American Express.

We can also take payments via wire transfer for large amounts and upon request.

Do you charge a booking fee?

No, there is no booking fee and prices include VAT.

When do I get the location details of my activity?

You will get the location details and directions on how you could get to the location of the activity with the voucher.

I have made a booking and need to change the date.

Please send an email to bookings (at) to let us know the new date and we will send you the confirmation of the change of date if available.

What does "Min# of guests/participants" mean?

It means that the activity requires a minimum number of persons to be held.

When you book you are joining other participants. Therefore, the minimum number of participants could be easily reached.

You could book your place and if the minimum number is not reached you will have the option to get a full refund or do a different activity. 

All of our creative partners have welcomed fewer participants than their requested minimum number. So, do not hesitate and send us your booking inquire!

What does "Max# of guests/participants" mean? 

In this case, it refers to a maximum number of persons that the host can welcome each time the activity is offered.

Can I request a different date to take an activity?

This option is only for group bookings. Every activity has a calendar with days and times when it is being offered. Your group can request a different date “IF” this option is available for the chosen activity/ies. Please, check this information and applicable conditions before contacting us with your request.

To request a date, select the “Inquire” option from the "Book or Inquire" form in the activity page. 

You will get a confirmation from us if the host is available. 

Can I book activities as private for me or my group?

Yes, you can. All listed activities in our website can be booked as private. Please use the book/inquire form of the activity and tell us you would like to book it as private for you or your group.

Is transportation included in the booking?

Transportation is not always included. You will find out if this option is available on the page of the experience, tour and at the time of booking.

But we will be delighted in assisting you to search and reserve private transportation or provide you with public transportation information if available for the location of the activity.

What if I need to cancel my booking? What is your cancellation policy for the experiences and tours?

A 10% of the price is non-refundable which is used to cover fees connected to the booing.

Refunds will only be issued to the card used to purchase the tour.

If a booking is cancelled with 7 or more days before the date of the experience, you receive 90% of the price.

If a booking is canceled between 7-3 days before the date of the experience, you receive 70% of the price.

If a booking is cancelled with 24 hours or less before the date of the experience, you arrive late or leave early, no refund will be given.

In case of no-shows, no refund will be given.

How can I cancel my booking?

Please, send an email to bookings (at) with your booking information. You will get an official confirmation email so the cancellation becomes effective.

What happens if my activity gets cancelled? 

You could either do another activity or get a full refund of your booking. In the first case, you could either get refunded or charged depending on the price difference.


We tried to issue refunds as soon as possible. It does not take longer than 7 days from the day the refund has been requested and confirmed. Please, expect a longer response time on the weekend or around public holidays.

Once the refund has been issued it can take up to 3-10 business days for the refund to show up on your statement.

How can I submit a review of an activity?

Go to the Contact Us form and select "Submit a review". We encourage you to send us your feedback so we could all benefit from it.
