Terms & Conditions


Booking

Please check all details on your confirmation carefully to ensure they are exactly as you requested. In the event of discrepancy, please let us know immediately by sending an email to info (at) creativeiceland.is as it may not be possible to change your booking at a later stage.

Payments

All bookings made through Creative Iceland require full payment from our customers at the time of booking.

Private, custom tours and experiences could be secured with a deposit of the total amount. Full payment of the outstanding balance is requested 30 days prior to your travel date.

The debit and credit cards we accept are MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, JCB, Diners, Discover and American Express.

We can also take payments via wire transfer for large amounts and upon request.

Taxes

Prices include VAT.

Booking through our website

Payments are handled by our partner Borgun, one of Iceland’s leading payment solution companies in the country. Trusted, secure and certified PCI level online payment.

Booking via e-mail

You have the option of booking one or more experiences, activities, transfers, day tours and custom tours via email. You will be sent a secure payment link which will take you to a secure third-party payment page also provided by our partner Borgun.

10% of the final price is non-refundable and the cancellation policy for each tour applies.

Governing law / Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are in accordance with Icelandic law.

Cancellations

A 10% of the price is non-refundable which is used to cover fees connected to the booing.

Refunds will only be issued to the card used to purchase the tour.

If a booking is cancelled with 7 or more days before the date of the experience, you receive 90% of the price.

If a booking is canceled between 7-3 days before the date of the experience, you receive 70% of the price.

If a booking is cancelled with 24 hours or less before the date of the experience, you arrive late or leave early, no refund will be given.

In case of no-shows, no refund will be given.

How to cancel a booking

Please, send an email to bookings (at) creativeiceland.is with your booking information. You will get an official confirmation email so the cancellation becomes effective.

Refunds

We try to issue refunds as soon as possible. It does not take longer than 7 days from the day the refund has been requested and confirmed. Please, expect a longer response time on the weekend or around public holidays.

Once the refund has been issued it can take up to 3-10 business days for the refund to show up on your statement.

Refunds will only be issued to the card used to purchase the tour.
