About the workshop

Join me for a couple of hours to learn how to screen-print a T-shirt, using any of my authentic Icelandic designs on a 100% organic cotton T-shirt. Screen-printing is an ancient technique, which has been used and experimented with by many artists, such as Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg and many more.

The workshop takes place in my home studio where I will show and explain the fundamentals of screen-printing technique and the step-by-step process. Then you will be able to make your own T-shirt with my guidance. You will pick one of my designs, the colour of the print, and the size and colour of the T-shirt. I even have kids T-shirts and onesies if you want to make a gift instead.

My designs are inspired by Icelandic nature and history, so they are deeply connected to Icelandic culture. We will not only have a creative, fun time, but you will also get to know the meaning and significance of my designs in relation to Icelandic culture.

Give yourself a creative an educational moment. Screen-printing is a wide, wonderful world – explore it!

Reviews

"Fun screen-printing with Bjarni"

"My friend and I had a wonderful time learning how to do screen-printing with Bjarni. He was a lovely host, having coffee and tea prepared for us, and it was really fun to learn about screen-printing and make our own designs with his expert guidance.
It was interesting to hear him talk about the designs and their relation to elements from Icelandic culture. Doing something like this is a great idea - different from the usual tourist activity. And very cool because you get to learn about the culture while making a souvenir that has more meaning than something you bought.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun activity in Iceland!"

"Fun & different"

"The screen printing activity was a lot of fun. Bjarni is very nice and explains really well. He explained the whole process. We got to choose from various designs and then we screen printed under his directions. It's a must do activity!

I would definitely recommend it to family and friends".
