About the Private Golden Circle, Hot Spring Bath and food tour
In this tour you'll gain an appreciation for how Icelandic history, culture and geology has influenced not only its cuisine, but also the world.
We'll start the day off by heading to one of Iceland's best bakerie outside of Reykjavik. Then we're off to visit the three major attractions of the Golden Circle: Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Hot Springs, and Gullfoss waterfall. Feel the power of Icelandic nature at its best.
Food stops could include lunch in Laugarvatn area, ice cream at a dairy farm, mid-afternoon tea at a geothermal greenhouse, bathe in Iceland’s largest natural hot water swimming pool, and dinner at a historic restaurant, before heading back to your hotel.
The pace is easy, as in 'slow travel' mode, to give you ample time to take in the scenery and enjoy the experience to the full. I take you to places that are off the beaten path, as well as to some of the more famous nature spots.
As this is essentially a private tour we can be as structured or as spontaneous as you would like, and visit places that are geared to your interests or your curiosity.
Gorgeous scenery, wonderful food, and lots of inspiration await you.
