About The Icelandic Troll workshop
A three hour family friendly workshop in making an Icelandic troll with Icelandic wool.
After hearing some stories about Icelandic trolls, each participant gets down to making his or her own troll according to their skills, under my guidance.
Icelandic trolls feature in stories and legends from all parts of the country. Not many people claim to have seen living trolls, though: most trolls have been turned to stone by the first rays of the rising sun.
Icelandic wool is ideal for making trolls because it is coarse and comes in a variety of natural colors. Making trolls with Icelandic wool is a fun project that anyone can do and does not require any level of skills to create them.
Make a small or large troll. Choose from the available wool colors to give your troll a personal touch and personality. You can make a great memory of your trip to Iceland, give it as a gift or make something unique that the little ones can play with.
This is a project that you can replicate or teach friends back home sharing with them the troll stories you learned and the memories of your trip.
