Reykjavik Haunted Walk
About The Reykjavik Haunted Walk
The Haunted Walk deals with Icelandic history, folklore and of course some well-known local ghosts! All of the stories that I will tell you have been thoroughly researched by a local historian from historical archives and ancient folklore, which will especially delight the skeptics in the group.
The walks are offered in the evenings, when the atmosphere is just right for a good ghost story. There are strange and unusual tales, for approximately 90 to 120 minutes and 2.5 kilometers, or 1.24 miles, that only the history of this city can contain.
The Haunted Walk is Reykjavik’s most popular urban walking experience. Some topics that will be seriously discussed include: what is so special about Icelandic ghosts? Is that parking lot really haunted? What are the chances of elves stealing your baby? Is Santa Claus (and his mother) really a monster in Iceland?
I am positive that the stories I have to share with you are fascinating and informative and I have no doubts that you will enjoy a ghostly but fun time!

Reviews
“Perfect way to spend a night in Reykjavik”
"This tour was one of my favorite things we did while in Reykjavik. It was fascinating to hear the stories associated with this city. Learning the "ghost stories" gives such an insight into the fascinating culture of Iceland.
Our guide, was engaging, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. The walk itself is easy, and the two hours passed quickly thanks to the great story telling.
I would recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a unique way to see Reykjavik. It was worth every penny! "
