About the Icelandic Dinner experience

There is no better way to experience a country and its culture than visiting a local family and having a home made dinner.

We are delighted to invite you to our home and welcome you to share the way a local family lives in Iceland and try a modern day Icelandic dinner.

You will have a three course, home made dinner, while enjoying an open conversation about Iceland, Icelandic food and cuisine, Icelandic way of life, and anything else you would like to talk about.

The dinner menu:

  • Bacon wrapped dates, grilled. Surprisingly delicious.

Main course

  • Icelandic lamb, Sunday dinner style, potatoes, salad and sauce.

  • Sticky taffy pudding and Icelandic whiskey.

  • Home brewed beer

What can be a better way to explore the local culture than meeting and eating with the locals while you are traveling? Come, visit us at our home for a casual dinner to experience the way of life of an Icelandic family.
