About The Icelandic Chocolate Making and Factory Tour
Have you ever wanted to know how chocolate is made?
At our chocolate factory in Reykjavík, you’ll get an introduction to the craft of making chocolate from the cocoa pod all the way to a chocolate bar. You will discover the process behind bean to bar chocolate making and taste the very best chocolate you could have :)
We learn the history and science of chocolate, where and how we source our cocoa beans, the benefits of organic and fair trade practices, and we walk you through our factory describing the bean-to-bar process. Tasting of all our bars is of course included and you might even be able to take a look and taste what's happening in our Test Lab.
The tour ends in our Factory Shop where more tasting will follow and the opportunity to buy directly from us.

Other booking options
You could book a tour on weekdays anytime from 10 to 17 hrs. The price is ISK 15,000 total for groups fewer than 5 people. After that it is ISK 3.000 per person.
At other times or on weekends, the price is ISK 30,000 total for groups fewer than 10 people. After that it is ISK 3.000 per person.
Private groups and custom tours for special occasions can be organized on request. Minimum is 5 people. Available times for private groups are 11am, 1pm and 2pm.

“The tour was an excellent opportunity to learn about chocolate around the world, and how you go from bean to bear. We learned a lot about growing chocolate beans, and the entire manufacturing process. We got to sample many chocolates, and these were some of the best that either my wife or I have ever head.
